Nine Out of Ten Primary Care Docs Recommend Probiotics

Probiotics are now the most recommended category of dietary supplements by US primary care doctors, according to a recent survey of 2000 physicians conducted by Holistic Primary Care earlier this year. Eighty-nine percent of respondents say they recommend probiotics. In 2010, multivitamins held the top spot.
